Learn about the details of the long-term internship programme offered by the MFI and be one of the seven interns awarded a scholarship for the programme.
Applicants eligible for the Programme
Starting in September 2021, students participating in the Central European Comparative Law English-language PhD programme at the Ferenc Deák Doctoral School of the University of Miskolc shall also take part in the MFI internship programme.
The MFI Internship Programme provides an outstanding opportunity for doctoral students by providing insights into research and publication processes across various themes of comparative law in four main departments: Public, Private, International and EU Law, and the Science and Research Network.
Students of the English-language internship programme gain insights into the activities of professors and researchers in the field of comparative law in Central Europe and support their work through proactive participation. Interns participate in small-scale research activities and become involved in other MFI activities such as compiling literature, contributing to the writing of research reports, and writing and publishing scientific articles. The knowledge acquired during the internship programme will greatly contribute to the candidate’s professional progress and will further develop competencies acquired during the PhD programme.
Additionally, students have a great opportunity to actively organise and attend international conferences and other scientific events organised by the MFI.
The MFI also provides language learning programmes for students receiving the Central European Academic scholarship and the opportunity to participate in scientific conferences organised by the institute. Further, interns have the chance to join foreign programmes, summer schools, and additional training. As such, the MFI assists PhD students in various ways in publishing their scientific results.
