{"id":5514,"date":"2022-11-23T15:19:11","date_gmt":"2022-11-23T14:19:11","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/the-right-to-privacy-in-the-digital-age-in-general-terms\/"},"modified":"2025-12-12T02:22:53","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T01:22:53","slug":"the-right-to-privacy-in-the-digital-age-in-general-terms","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/en\/the-right-to-privacy-in-the-digital-age-in-general-terms\/","title":{"rendered":"The Right to Privacy in the Digital Age \u2013 in general terms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 1 June 2022, the next international conference of the \u201cCentral European Professors\u2019 Network 2022\u201d took place in Warsaw, at the seat of the Polish Institute of Justice.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event, entitled \u201cThe Right to Privacy in the Digital Age \u2013 in General\u201d, was intended to present the results of the first six months of the work of the Professors\u2019 Network\u2019s research group \u201cThe Right to Privacy\u201d, through analytical and summarising presentations by the professors involved in the research.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research project \u201cCentral European Professors\u2019 Network 2022\u201d started its activities in the field of comparative law on 1 January 2022 with the active participation of experts from seven Central European countries (Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia).&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The event was opened by the Director of the Polish Institute of Justice, Prof. Dr habil. Marcin Wielec, Director of the&nbsp;Institute of Justice&nbsp;in&nbsp;Warsaw,&nbsp;Dr. Marcin Romanowski, Undersecretary of State at the Ministry of Justice of the Republic of Poland,&nbsp;Prof. Dr. habil.&nbsp;&nbsp;J\u00e1nos Ede&nbsp;Szil\u00e1gyi,&nbsp;the Head of Ferenc Madl Institute of Comparative Law&nbsp;and&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Katarzyna Zombory, the Director-General of the Central European Academy. Special guest of the conference was Dr. Grzegorz Ocieczek, Counsellor of the Polish National Prosecutor\u2019s Office, Associate Professor at the Department of Criminal Procedure, Faculty of Law and Administration, Cardinal Stefan Wyszy\u0144ski University in Warsaw.&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference speakers were Prof.&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Vanja-Ivan Savi\u0107 (University of Zagreb), Prof.&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Andr\u00e1s Koltay (University of Public Service and&nbsp;P\u00e1zm\u00e1ny P\u00e9ter Catholic University, Budapest), Prof.&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Matija Damjan (University of Ljubljana), Prof.&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Marta Dragi\u010devi\u0107&nbsp;Prtenja\u010da&nbsp;(University of Zagreb), Prof.&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Du\u0161an Popovi\u0107 (University of Belgrade), Prof.&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;David&nbsp;Sehn\u00e1lek&nbsp;(University of Masaryk, Brno), Prof.&nbsp;Dr.&nbsp;Katar\u00edna&nbsp;\u0160migov\u00e1&nbsp;(Pan-European University in Bratislava), M.Sc.
