The Ferenc M\u00e1dl Institute of Comparative Law (MFI) and the Central European Academy (CEA) of the University of Miskolc organized an international conference on the 22nd<\/sup> of April 2022 in the Hungarian Academy of Sciences entitled \u201cInternational Public Law from a Central European Perspective\u201d. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

 
The conference provided an opportunity for the authors of the forthcoming book, \u201cInternational Public Law from a Central European Perspective\u201d, to present their chapters and discuss current issues of international law from the perspective of Central and Eastern European countries. Topics covered include sovereignty and identity in international law, various forms and levels of international cooperation, international protection of individuals, communities and values, international criminal law, and migration. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

We had the honour of greeting  the authors of the book and the speakers at the conference Bertrand MATHIEU (University of Sorbonne, France), Pawe\u0142 CZUBIK (Cracow University of Economics, Poland), Rodoljub ETINSKI (University of Novi Sad, Serbia), P\u00e9ter KOV\u00c1CS (P\u00e1zm\u00e1ny P\u00e9ter Catholic University, Hungary), P\u00e9ter PACZOLAY (University of Szeged, Hungary), Elisabeth S\u00c1NDOR-SZALAY (University of P\u00e9cs, Hungary), Rutvica Rusan NOVOKMET (University of Zagreb, Croatia), Anik\u00f3 RAISZ (University of Miskolc, Hungary), Katarzyna ZOMBORY (University of Miskolc \u2013 Central European Academy, Hungary). <\/p>\n\n\n\n
