{"id":5573,"date":"2022-11-08T20:28:03","date_gmt":"2022-11-08T19:28:03","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/dialogue-on-the-future-of-europebuilding-a-digital-european-union\/"},"modified":"2022-11-08T20:28:03","modified_gmt":"2022-11-08T19:28:03","slug":"dialogue-on-the-future-of-europebuilding-a-digital-european-union","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/en\/dialogue-on-the-future-of-europebuilding-a-digital-european-union\/","title":{"rendered":"Dialogue on the Future of Europe:Building a Digital European Union"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The Ministry of Justice and the Ferenc M\u00e1dl Institute of Comparative Law are organising a high-profile international conference on 21 June 2021 in the context of the Conference on the Future of Europe, titled: \u201cDialogue on the Future of Europe: Building a Digital European Union\u201d.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The conference consists of three thematic panel discussions.<br>Amongst other experts, our&nbsp;<strong>first panel<\/strong>&nbsp;\u201cDigitalisation and sovereignty: how to balance the legitimate interest of both\u201d, will be featuring&nbsp;<em>Judit Varga Minister of Justice (HU)<\/em>,&nbsp;<em>Commissioner Mariya Gabriel<\/em>, and&nbsp;<em>Secretary of State Ana Paula Zacarias<\/em>.<br>In the&nbsp;<strong>second panel<\/strong>, professionals from the economic world will be discussing the future of European competitiveness.<br>The&nbsp;<strong>third, final panel<\/strong>&nbsp;discussion will focus on \u201cDigitalisation and European citizens: how to ensure an ethical transition?\u201d featuring speakers primarily from the academic sphere.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">In the recent past, Hungary has organised two high-profile online conferences related to the Conference on the Future of Europe, including one titled&nbsp;<em>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20220807080200\/https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/en\/esemenyek\/keynote-discussion-on-launching-the-conference-on-the-future-of-europe\/\">Keynote discussion to the Conference on the Future of Europe<\/a>\u201d<\/em>&nbsp;on 25 June 2020, and a second one titled&nbsp;<em>\u201c<a href=\"https:\/\/web.archive.org\/web\/20220807080200\/https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/en\/esemenyek\/dialogue-on-the-future-of-europe-how-to-build-a-more-effective-end-genuinely-strong-union\/\">Dialogue on the Future of Europe: How to build a more effective and genuinely strong Union<\/a>?<\/em>\u201d on 21 September 2020 with keynote speakers Dubravka \u0160uica and Antonio Tajani.
