{"id":5657,"date":"2024-06-11T09:08:57","date_gmt":"2024-06-11T08:08:57","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/migration-challenges-legal-responses-in-specific-terms-2\/"},"modified":"2025-12-12T02:27:38","modified_gmt":"2025-12-12T01:27:38","slug":"migration-challenges-legal-responses-in-specific-terms-2","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/en\/migration-challenges-legal-responses-in-specific-terms-2\/","title":{"rendered":"Migration Challenges \u2013 Legal Responses in Specific Terms"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">On 15-16 February 2024, the Central European Academy and the Faculty of Law of the University of Zagreb will organise a conference entitled \u201cMigration Challenges \u2013 Legal Responses in Specific Terms\u201d, in cooperation with the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Miskolc, the Ferenc M\u00e1dl Institute of Comparative Law, the Institute of Justice Warsaw and the Central European Comparative Law Association.  <\/p>\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-9080-1024x684-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11963\"\/><\/figure>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The research project of Economic Governance examines the economic aspects of governance, including its fiscal (broken down into public finance, taxation and state aid areas) and monetary policy pillars. The research project is peculiar in the sense that it does not only analyze the above topics from a general, theoretical perspective but the special point of view of the CEE countries as well as the EU law position are also taken into consideration. The CEE perspective is elaborated on a country-by-country basis (7 EU Member States and 1 non-EU country), however, the research project aims at deducing general conclusions from the observation of national peculiarities.    <\/p>\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-columns is-layout-flex wp-container-core-columns-is-layout-8f761849 wp-block-columns-is-layout-flex\">\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-9077-1024x684-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11959\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n\n\n\n<div class=\"wp-block-column is-layout-flow wp-block-column-is-layout-flow\">\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"https:\/\/mfi.gov.hu\/wp-content\/uploads\/img-9079-1024x684-1.jpg\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-11961\"\/><\/figure>\n<\/div>\n<\/div>\n\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">This approach enables the exploration of similarities and differences in terms of the positions of the Member States as well as in relation to the Member State \u2013 <br\/>EU positions. Consequently, the reasons for the potentially interfering viewpoints can be identified.
