On 7 May 2022 a memorial conference was held in Rimaszombat commemorating the meeting of Ferenc Mádl, then President of Hungary and Rudolf Schuster, then President of Slovakia, with Géza Erdélyi, former bishop of the Reformed Christian Church in Slovakia, in the Reformed parsonage of Rimaszombat on 19 October 2001.
The memorial conference was co-organized by the Ferenc Mádl Memorial Committee, the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law, the Reformed Christian Church in Slovakia and the Reformed Parish of Rimaszombat among representatives of public law, science and church life.
