On the 2nd of June 2022, at the seat of the Polish Institute of Justice, an international scientific conference was organised by the Institute of Justice in Warsaw, the Central European Academy of the University of Miskolc, and the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law. 

The conference, entitled “Content of the right to parental responsibility in the legal orders of Central and Eastern Europe – Selected problems”, presented the partial results of the first semester of the research group “Content of the right to parental custody” of the Central European Professors’ Network 2022, through presentations by the professors involved in the research. 

The research project “Central European Professors’ Network 2022” started its activities in the field of comparative law on 2 January 2022 with the active participation of experts from seven Central European countries (Czech Republic, Croatia, Hungary, Poland, Serbia, Slovakia and Slovenia). 

The event was opened by the Deputy Director of the Polish Institute of Justice, Prof. Dr. hab. Paweł Sobczyk, Deputy State Secretary of the Polish Ministry of Justice, Dr. Marcin Romanowski, Director General of the Central European Academy of the University of Miskolc, Dr. Katarzyna Zombory, Head of the Ferenc Mádl Institute for Comparative Law, Budapest, Prof. dr. habil. János Ede Szilágyi, and the opening speaker of the conference Prof. Aleksander Stępkowski (Speaker of the Polish Supreme Court). 

The conference was divided into two panel sessions, during which Prof. Aleksandra Korać Graovac (University of Zagreb), Prof. Zdeňka Králíčková (University of Brno), Prof. Tímea Heinerné Barzó (University of Miskolc), Prof. Suzana Kraljić (University of Maribor), Prof. Lilla Garayová (Pan-European University, Bratislava), Prof. Gordana Kovaček Stanić (University of Novi Sad), Prof. Marek Andrzejewski (Institute of Legal Sciences of the Polish Academy of Sciences), Dr. Michał Poniatowski (Cardinal Stefan Wyszyński University in Warsaw), Prof. Paweł Sobczyk (University of Opole) gave a summarizing presentation.
