On 22-23 February 2024, the Central European Academy organised a conference entitled “Normative aspects of family protection and family development -international perspective”, with the cooperation of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences of the University of Miskolc, the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law, the Consulate General of Hungary in Krakow, the Central-European Association for Comparative Law and the Scientific Assiociation For Comparative Law Poland.

The research team established by the CEA ” Normative aspects of family protection and family development – international perspective” researches many problems related to the legal aspects of the demographic development of Europe. The subject of scientific research are families, parents (legal guardians) and children. These issues relate to problems that interest various branches of law in Central European countries.

The ‘Normative aspects of family protection and family development – international perspective’ conference is organised within the framework of the collaboration with the Ministry of EU Affairs in preparation for the Hungarian EU Presidency in 2024.
