Visit of a Polish delegation in Budapest

A delegation from the Institute of Justice in Warsaw visited Budapest from 11-13 May 2022 in the framework of the new scientific and professional cooperation already underway and to be signed during the meeting. 

During the visit, the Polish delegation was represented by Dr hab. Professor Marcin Wielec (Director of the Warsaw Institute of Justice), Dr hab. Professor Paweł Sobczyk (Dean of the Faculty of Law and Political Sciences at the University of Opole) and Bartłomiej Oręziak (Strategic Director of the Warsaw Institute of Justice) held fruitful discussions with Anikó Raisz, State Secretary (Ministry of Justice), Katarzyna Zombory, Director General (University of Miskolc – Central European Academy) and Dr. hab. Professor János Ede Szilágyi, Head of the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law.  

The aim of the activities was to create a Central European research community carried out in the framework of the projects. The community will enable an effective presentation of the perspective of the Central European region. 

During the visit, a flower-laying ceremony was held on 12 May in front of the Józef Piłsudski Memorial in Budapest, attended by the Polish and Hungarian delegations.
