On 30 November – 1 December 2023, the Mádl Ferenc Institute for Comparative Law, the Central European Academy, the Association of Children’s Rights and the Hungarian Comparative Law Association organise the second edition of Children’s Rights Days in Budapest.

The conference will celebrate the 45th anniversary of the initiation of the UN Convention on the Rights of the Child (CRC), and the impact of a Central European country, Poland.

The conference aims to draw the attention to the implementation gaps, and give a special attention to those children who need it the most. Therefore, this year’s focus group is children on the periphery and the spotlight is on how to enhance their right so that they can have full access to protection, provision and participation provided by the CRC.

Similarly to last year, the two-day-long conference will be accompanied by an exhibition consisting from contribution of children.

The Chief Patron of the conference: Katalin Novák, the President of Hungary.
