Private Law Research Group

Private Law in a Changing World

The Private Law Research Group examines theoretical and practical issues in both classical and contemporary fields of private law, with particular attention to developments in civil law, challenges of legal application, and the impact of emerging socio-economic phenomena on private law regulation. The research focuses on key trends shaping modern private law, including digitalisation, the platform economy, data-driven business models, and the transformation of consumer and commercial relationships.

The research group seeks to assess the coherence and modernity of private law regulation, to strengthen the foundations of legal doctrine, and to foster dialogue between legal scholarship and legal practice.
