The dissemination event was an international conference, where I presented the results of my research within the framework of the Central European Professors’ Network coordinated by the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law.

The Central European Professors’ Network, consisting of four research groups, launched its activities on 1 January 2021 to conduct research on a great variety of issues with regard to seven Central European countries (Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic, Croatia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Serbia). The Professors’ Network organises events with the primary aim to draw attention of the European citizens to the topics which are important and significant in connection with the future of Europe, in particular of Central Europe.

The conference that was planned and organized as a dissemination event of the research carried out within the framework of the Central European Professors’ Network coordinated by the Ferenc Mádl Institute of Comparative Law gathered master and doctoral students to discuss various relevant issues concerning social media, freedom of expression and its restrictions in democratic societies.

Religious diversity is a topical issue across Europe. The lecture focused on the role of religion in societies, the advantages, and disadvantages of diversity, and ask how (secular) society should relate to religion. To answer the question the lecture first gave an overview of the history of freedom of religion. Freedom of religion is one of the most basic fundamental rights, which has a close connection to human dignity.

The webinar by doc. JUDr. David Sehnálek, Ph.D., was conducted online as a part of the Autumn School of Global Legal Skills. The Autumn School is an intensive program focusing on legal reasoning, legal interpretation and argumentation, work with literature, case law, and professional writing.

On the 6th of December 2021, the Ministry of Justice and the Mádl Ferenc Institute for Comparative Law have organised a fourth international conference in the framework of the Conference on the future of Europe. The event took place at the Hungarian Academy of Sciences, in Budapest, with approximatively 100 participants, among them ambassadors and other personalities.
